Ya'll seen it?


I enjoyed it.

Fresh and gritty.

Yes! Seen it a couple of weeks ago. It was a good movie, a more serious and realistic point of view compared to Kick-Ass. I think that's the reason it didn't get much attention, because a lot of people were trying to compare it to Kick-Ass by the trailer alone.

That reminds me of another film along those lines, Special, haven't seen it yet either though:

My understanding is that it's a lot darker than the trailer implies.

'special' looks great. I have not seen Kick Ass yet. Hollywood must have a network of informers and spies so they can cannibalize each others ideas. Good on them. I would rather watch super hero movies than a $100 million dollar remake of Robin Hood...


p.s. the "Defendor" trailer kind of ruins the movie or takes some of the charm out of it.

I've seen special as well. It IS good, it is along the lines of Defendor but funnier.The trailer to Defendor makes it seem like it's supposed to be funny, which it is at points, but It becomes more withing the first 30 minutes or less. Whereas Special has its funny moment throughout the entire film. I recommend all 3 of these films they all have good performances with the exeption of "Mc Lovin" in Kick-Ass but they are all worth seeing.



Honestly, the preview ruins nothing of the movie, like I said it's kinda misleading making seem like its all comedy when it all actuality it is more of a serious movie.
