Now, I know not everyone here is a Slipknot fan, but a lot of metal (some of you will find that I used that word inappropriately, but who cares) musicians have been just dropping lately. I cherish the times that I got to see Slipknot live, and this is just another loss for the music world.

Fuck! I am seriously hoping this is not true. Don't see any news on Slipknot's website.... maybe too soon.
How can Slipknot be Slipknot without being 9?

Yeah, it seems probable that Slipknot will no longer create albums, or play live shows.

Wow. That sucks. I've seen Slipknot 3 or 4 times, I was hooked when I saw them play second stage at ozzfest way back when.

Sad news

Fortunately i saw slipknot the first time they ever played in London and what looks now like their last performance at the Hammersmith Applo.

I remember reading somewhere that once one of the 9 left that they couldnt imagine carrying on. They allways said that having the same lineup was one of their main strenghts.
