you don't need to thin them out.
but you also have to buy the clear coat.

seem to be comparable in price to vcolor etc....

Monster Kolor is awesome. I just picked up the C-Thru colors too. Color changing is very cool. a 2 oz bottle will go a long way unless you're painting nothing but large zags!

2oz bottle is the same size as vcolor. I really like the silver but haven't tried some of the other paints/coats....but I would buy more silver. It sprays really well but I don't think it dries as fast as VC but still dries really quick. I've had a problem with paint chipping before clear coat but then that's just me not being thorough enough when prepping. The Odoron and Hedorah I painted for the past S7FL show was painted with a mix of VC and MK. They mix well and haven't really had a problem with spraying or cleaning.

hmm, i had the same issue with paint chipping on clear vinyl stuff.
also when i used tamiya tape, it peeled the paint right off...

anyways, I love the silver too.
i need to order some other colors to play with, i do like the increasing selection.

I'm just starting with airbrushing, after palying around with some acrylics i'm ready to move on to some vinyl and am planning on placing a monster kolor order. My question is what are you guys using to clean out your airbrushes with?

Don't know if you guys have heard of this stuff called Bulldog, but the painter at my job told me about it. It's an adhesion promoter that does not need to be thinned and it is clear matte until you gloss clear it. You can get it in a spray can or a big bottle to use in an airbrush. I have not tested it myself yet, but he says they used it on these resin wackamoles before they sprayed them. They get hit thousands of times every summer and the paint doesnt come off. Hope this helps for using alternatives to v-color.
