they reused so many people from earlier RR movies....
the boy from spy kids, the twins & doctor from grindhouse. hell i believe i even caught a glimse of mousie and sad girl from mi vida loca in it.

the first scene is intense... that beezie was nasty with her phone all up there hahaha... but she was bomb :D

seeing the plaeta cart come in after all the gardeners was hilarious!...

and i couldnt stop laughing at the weed whacker part, because i know how much it does hurt haha

Agreed!!
This movie definitely exceeded my expectations. Gory, funny, constant action... yet still maintaining a respectable plot. I like how Lindsay pretty much played herself. I loved the last scene with DeNiro. Won't ruin it for anybody, but the irony was fantastic.

Michelle Rodriguez looked damn good too.

this movie had predictably enjoyable gore foreshadowing. over 30 feet long, huh?
also, i realized deniro was doing his best GWB half the time, watching it with that in mind is pretty hilarious.

but ultimately it's a thrown together mess and nowhere near as fun as planet terror/death proof.

Post Re: Machete
I just saw it and loved it. Although I kinda thought it would be a little better in some ways, maybe more of the dirty old film effect added like in Planet Terror and a fake trailer, restaurant ad,ect, but it was still very cool. I thought Lindsay Lohan was HOT! I said it on the Kaws/LL page here too, I know people like to trash her, but I think if she sobers up and chills out she could be a great actress, I thought she was one of the best parts. Robert Deniro, and the whole cast were great too... Lots of sexy girls and violence... It was great! :D

Was there an actual screening? I went to the outdoor party thing they had and they only showed some clips from the movie and Danny Trejo giggled like a girl.

Also Lohan is a disgusting train wreck.

Post Re: Machete
lohan just plays her character, who happens to be a disgusting train wreck as well. she's one of many characters that seems written around an actor into a movie that could have done fine without. if you're into seeing her looking loaded the whole time, first while naked and then later with guns, then that's in there.

this movie had a pretty big release and has come close to competing with "the american" on some days, which is funny.
