 R.I.P Sake (1996-2010)
Its been a horrible past 16 hours at home... My wife and I lost one of our cats, Sake this morning at 730. We didnt make it in time to the vet to have her put to sleep. She passed about one block from our home. At least we got to spend some time with her before it happened. Sake (the gray cat) was a sweet girl and will be missed dearly. She was 15 and had an awesome life thanks to my wife, who chose her from a litter when she was just a kitten. RIP Sake...Mommy and Daddy will always love you.

So sorry for your loss. She lived a good long life and you both have 15 years of memories to remember her by. Hang in there and stay strong! Best Wishes, Nate & Maddie

Oh no! You have my deepest sympathies. I know how hard it is to lose someone so special... Earlier this year (in March), we lost our Kitty (Misia). She was 16, and we loved her sooo much. I still cry over her once in a while when I think about her. It's never easy to lose a family member (they're definitely more than just a "pet" to me)... I'm sorry. I'm glad to hear that Sake had a long and happy life (so did Misia) I'm very sorry to hear about your loss...

 Re: R.I.P Sake (1996-2010)
i feel your pain, been through this a few times at my age now. nothing on earth scares me other than one day losing my dogs.
give some time to heal then if you can pick up another special friend.. so very many are in need of a home.
the very fact you both took care of that creature is the true measure of your worth, try not to be sad but remember its happiness most.

RIP little Sake.
When I lost my cat, it helped to memorialize him with a post on the flickr page - every cat on flickr.
