^^^ That actually looks really good? Was it one of the newer sets? Cause yeah allot of the past few years stuff was kinda "meh" at best.

Yep, from last year (but still available). It's crazily detailed, there's tons of hidden details and a gazillion minifigs.

Can't seem to copy a link of this picture of the shadow theater I took, but here's a link: https://www.instagram.com/p/BAVopSfvT7t ... HyRERxuI0/

And on the simpler side:

Not sure if I'd have IDed this simple flat as Booska on first glance...

But I'm happy to take @hishochi's word for it. :D

So i found some new Star Wars Lego sets and three really caught my eye in the store. The first one is Rex's AT TE.
Image

The second one is a Clone Turbo tank with one of those walkers.

Than the third one is from the Star Wars Freemakers series coming soon.
Image

I don't have any of these ones yet but there really cool to see in person thats for sure. The Star Wars sets continue to be pretty solid for the most part.

You know i wont be surprised at all if they do a few more waves of the Lego Disney Characters blind bags. They sold out super fast in allot of stores here where i am at. I only picked up 2. Not a HUGE Disney fan by any means but I actually got 2 pretty well known characters from the bags. Managed to find some of the newer mini blind bag sets though that are not Disney related. Ill do some update pictures latter.

Yeah, I dunno. I have sure seen a great number of building/construction sets through the years, some better than others, but the design of those seems pretty unpractical. And yeah, as fan of Ultraman, I can just barely 'see' the characters being portrayed, it is a stretch, and not very fun looking for play at that either. Compared with, say, this

Heck, even these guys seem pretty cool to me,

Or, if you prefer getting all professional-like

Moving along...

I don't know, Steve - I like the suggestive simplicity of the LaQ dioramas very much. I would never knock those more elaborate Tsuburaian renditions, but they look way more 6" Bandai or X-Plus to me. :P

^^^ Some of those do look pretty neat but id be better invested in them if they were actual whole themed Lego sets of Adventure Time and the others you mentioned.

We know there's at least one full Adventure Time set coming... And knowing Lego, if they've licensed an IP, they will release a few more sets for sure.

Im still REALLY upset they did not do more Lord Of The Rings Themed Lego sets. Between those and the Hobbit they just sprinkled playset's here and there. Not enough of the big castles and what not if you know what i mean man. A wonderful license almost WASTED!

They should do whole Lego sets based off of that Cartoon. I mean seriously there are so many awesome playset ideas they could do for that. Not just the submarine itself.
