Help needed ID'ing these 70's toys...
Please chime in if you can tell me what these are! And in "loungin' out" mode... Dug these up in a driveway in NJ in 1994... have only this evening decided what to do with it... Much thanks!

I don't know what the size difference between the two are, but if its possible I say take that body, and somehow fashion the green head onto it. It seems like the natural thing to do.

Thanks for the replies, guys!
lurker, there's not a single letter of company ID anywhere on this guy...
Phil, I'm doing something along those lines, but not with the green head; I'm attaching a spare head I happen to have from a resin Nosferatu (Herzog/Kinski version) model kit. The head is a perfect fit, looks freakin' hilarious! And, of course, I'm gonna paint up his pantsuit real sharp...

Re: Help needed ID'ing these 70's toys...
So, I've been perusing pics of various Marx figures; none of them, to my eye, seem to have the jointed abdomen that my guy here has. To you Marx aficionados, do you guys know if this was a feature of some of their figures?

Re: Help needed ID'ing these 70's toys...
The abdomen and the fact that the boots are not the same color as the pants/leg make me think this is a Marx knockoff. All the Best of the West and Marx Knights figures I've seen have the foot molded the same color as the leg.

Yeah, maybe a Marx knockoff... another boarder PM'd me to say he thought it looked like something from Marx' "Safari Hunters" line; I googled pics, and while the styling looks similar, there are some significant differences (the abdomen joint being one of them).
