Hey guys!

So someone i got chatting to at Rozelle Markets in Convict Town told me he "had lots more at home".

So we exchanged details and he emailed me some of his stuff...

One thing is damn damn interesting:

* Baltan shop display

- roughly 3.5 feet high
- made of hard plastic
- lobster hands/claws missing and replaced with gloves





Questions:

1) Year?
2) Maker?
3) Possible to fix the hands at all/replace the hands?
4) The feet look odd - are they damaged?
5) Rare/worth saving?

I am pretty sure that the more common store display is much more blobous looking - horrible proportions. This seems much better proportioned. Strange. I'll have to dig up a photo.

This looks more like a large garage kit glued to a wooden base to me . . . .

Kinda surprised this is stumping Skullbrain! I thought it was infallible! Guess i need a new god now.

I think it's a kit too, to be more specific the Kaiyodo Baltan kit from about 20years ago. There was an Ultraman in the same scale and an Ultraseven too. Can you take a picture of the bottom of the feet? That should be tHe clincher.

^^ Yeah, without the lobster claws i'd pass.

It also looks like the bottom of one of the feet has split-off too . . . .

Do these kits come prepainted? If not, its a pretty good paint job.
