I'm not being funny, but I have been on gmail since it started, got a mega early invite and so I get a bit annoyed with them that they don't pass these things onto long time users.
I had to get wave through a mate who worked there. It's just a bit naff really. Sort it out.

I've been weirded out by my friends who're defending it with insane vigor- every time I post a critique (it's a beta. I critique and then submit feedback) my google moonie friends get SUPER defensive. One of them even had a developer jump into the thread to 'prove me wrong'. It's strange the level of brand loyalty it's already creating.

There are some interesting things (circles are great, and the hangout is kinda fun when I'm at work) and I'm sure there are a lot more coming, but... heck... it's just a social networking site.

I guess i'm on this now. i could see how it would be fun with a large base of users and after repeated use. the +1s are basically google's way of scooping out the most relevant links out of any google search to you, based on what you like and what people you know like and share. that will be interesting i guess, but it's no surprise they're starting to get heat on anti-trust stuff regarding ad tailoring.

so you need to be invited in so basically google + is the nag nag nag of social networking

naw its more the skullbrain of social networks. not hard to get in just have to wait a bit, then lots of superiority complexes since FB is now the KR forums.

How many things is google going to try? Wave or whatever it was, buzz, + etc

I've been saying the time is right for myspace to be put in the grave for good and facebook to be put down a notch but I'm not sure googles aproach is what is gonna do it,maybe I'll try it if the world deems me "cool" enough

I'm not totally ready to jump on anything new from google after the whole buzz lawsuit etc
