 Japanese Auction Question
For those of you who bid on Japanese auctions, do you all use Celga? When you use them, am I correct to assume they act as the bidder and then reship everthing to you (And you can, therefor, get all those items that say "no international shipping").
If you only win one item, will the shipping offset all the savings? (Do you need to win a number of auctions before it's worth it?)
I have never heard anyone flame them, but is there anything a novice user should know?
Thanks!!

You're better off buying a bunch of stuff./ then having them ship-EMS isnt cheap so its definitely in your best interest to buy in bulk..They do have hold boxes for people so you can gather a good amount of merchandise..I would maybe recommend also Moi and Rinkya for auction serices too..A lot of us use Celga but the only problem is if another Celga bidder has a bid in they wont put in yours..So basically once someone that uses Celga has a bid in its kind of off limits..Unless you're going to bid higher than said person, in that case they usuallly contact you and tell you..

If you're going to stay with Celga - as I have - and buy enough to justify it, I highly suggest you go with their gold-membership so that you can bid whenever and not worry about someone else pushing the buttons for you.
As to shipping, Celga lets you make the call but, as Biff said, the more you can wait and consolidate, the better off you'll be.

Biff yo8u also need to know Celga wont give you a gold account immediately w/out someone vouching for you..Meaning you will need someone that already ahs a gold acct to tell celga you're ok.If you dont have that then they usually require you to use them for 3-4 months first, then they will grant you a gold acct..

Thanks for the replies!! Some of those auctions have been looking too good to ignore.
