Re: The good ol' hockey game
Wow Penguins, so classy. Clean hit gets a crosscheck to the neck? I hate Aaron Asham, even when he was on the Flyers. He's nothing but a punk.
EDIT: Now Neal leaves his feet for a crosscheck in the head of Couturier. What a joke this team is. Bunch of crybabies who turn thug when things don't go their way. All the Pens did was anger the Flyers so much and give them ammo to close it out on Tuesday. 4-0 Good night Pittsburgh!

Re: The good ol' hockey game
It's like the Pens and Flyers were playing the final game each time. Their games have everything...lots of scoring, rough games, cry-babies...
I always thought Asham was good for nothing...even when he was on the Habs.

Re: The good ol' hockey game
Wow...who would have thought the Kings would be up in the series.
Barry Melrose actually made a good point...with Weber only getting a fine, other players are thinking "Well...if he can get away with that, then I can get away with ..." or, every phone call to Shanny will start with "Weber just got a fine, so..."

Holtby was amazing as a goaltender end of last season, and I was hoping he'd feel the pressure but he's really solid in net. They should just make him the full time goaltender next season already. Go B's!

Re: The good ol' hockey game
Woah! Hossa was taken off the ice on a stretcher. Torres left his feet and made contact with the head. Seriously if Torres, James Neal & Arron Asham of the Pens aren't all suspended by tomorrow Shannahan is a joke.
EDIT, cool ok Shanny gave Neal 1 and Asham 4.

Re: The good ol' hockey game
Just saw the Hossa hit and hopefully he'll be OK. Pens players got what they deserved. I'm not alone saying that, as a Pens fan for many years, I can't remember ever being this disappointed in their play and conduct. The Flyers are in the Pens' heads. Love the way Flyers are playing hockey, but it's the Flyers and I can't stand them. Pens should have kept Talbot and let Kenndey go. Talbot was a SUPERSTAR here in the 'Burgh. Hindsight...

^^^Jagr was my favorite Pen during the 90's and Talbot will always be a favorite, but it's Phiily. I just can't do it. Although I alway root for whatever team beats mine to win the cup. It makes me feel better about losing

Re: The good ol' hockey game
I'm ecstatic today! Flyers send the Pens golfing for the summer and the Bruins pull out a OT win and force a game 7. I woke up today planning on doing nothing but watching these two games hoping for these results. Now if Ottawa can just close out the Rangers.....

Re: The good ol' hockey game
When I saw Giroux throw a hard check on Crosby and score 32 seconds in I knew it might be a good day Best part though had to be watching Malkin throw a temper tantrum on the bench slamming his stick

Hoping the Kings can get rid of those Canucks. Glad to see the Preds move ahead...cause I'm just tired of seeing the Wings in the playoffs. Kinda bummed the Devils are out. Not sure who I'll be cheering for. Might have to with the Rangers since I have family in NY.

^^^^ Bert- Devils are still in. It's only 3-2 Florida.
Wow this 3rd period of the Kings/Nucks game is showcasing some world class speed. Makes those east coast games look like they were playing in a molasses rink.
