Yeah Nicholas Gurewitch (Perry Fellowship Bible comic) is in town today at the Buffalo Library. I might go check it out, since nothing ever happens here. He also is part of the team that makes these shorts and one of them is also going to be there. I think it's Rocco:

Awesome, someone else who appreciates PBF. It definitely doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Might as well check it out. I've been to Buffalo just once, but it is hardly what I would call a 'hep' place  Could be worse though, you could be stuck in Hamilton....right Oli? :o

I came to Buffalo on a whim (had a friend I use to work with in NYC who is from here) 5 years ago. I have a love/hate relationship with this place, as I've had with most cities I've lived in. Good things: plenty of artists just not the kind of art I'm into, perfect weather in the summer, lots of great architecture, very low cost of living, great parks & places to visit around here. Bad things: Vincent Gallo was right in Buffalo 66: people are WAY too obsessed with the two local sports teams, college town with too many drunken kids, long winters, if I hear one of these four things I might have to shoot the next person who says them: pronouncing cars, bars or anything with 'ar' in it like a pirate "CaAARRSSS, BAARRRRRSSsss", calling soda- 'pop', saying 'you's' instead of you, and if I have to listen to any more local newscasts explaining how somehow Western NY is connected to a National Event- way too prideful a people here.
