Post Buyers beware: TotenToroKopf
I purchased two jars of pus from the person TotenToroKopf last month.

A few weeks later one of the jars of pus arrives, i wrote to him to see if he forgot the other one and he said that he shipped it in a seperate box and it should arrive shortly.

A few weeks pass and nothing shows up so i write him and he has no tracking # for the other package. He said to wait a week and he would refund my money. Nothing arrived and I left him know and he did refund my money. Awesome!

The odd thing was is that he still made it seem like if it ever arrived to send him the money back.

This week: Another board member was selling the same jar of pus I wanted, so I proceed to tell him the story of how the one i bought got lost and want to purchase it for the same price.

He then proceeds to tell me the same exact story, that his other jar got lost yadda yadda from TotenToroKopf and he did refund his money also.

So basically he sold the same 2 things to two people and lied about the status, i'm not sure what he had to gain besides leverging money from both of us for something else.

After a little search i found the same sketchyness in this thread: http://www.cerealbits.com/cereal/forum/ ... php?t=2328

I got 1 jar and a refund for most of the other money but I just want to put a warning out there to others in case this happens again. Sketchyness.

he hasn't been active on the kr forum since last month but I noted your concerns in all his for sale posts there.

Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention. He really has balls to sell the same set to two people, ship half to both, then claim the other half is lost. Glad you got your money back.

He's been pretty straight with when I bought from him...but that might be because I'm local.

Maybe they were never really cool to begin with. They build up a sense of false trust on a board with sales of common to semi-rare toys, then put out toys that are highly sought after, and that's when it really rears it's ugly head. It sucks to the locals because he did seem like a pretty cool person when we all met him...but maybe that's part of the act.

I read something very similar in that Cerealbits forum that lurker mentioned. He would build up trust by selling the more common items and actually follow through with the sales. Then he would try and sell something rare, or a big dollar item, and screw the person from that sale.
