SHEEP SUCKERS!!
The presidential race is quite a show, as always. I honestly wish they could just fight for the nomination in a no-holds-barred ultimate fighting showdown. To properly motivate the candidates, let's say the loosers get to spend the rest of the election cycle serving their country in Afghanistan alongside the troops they hold in such high esteem.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
I say Santorum. Paul's too feeble, Gingrich is too old. Romney looks like he's never seen a fist fight in his life.
Trump would tigerclaw them all though.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
Kid Paul, Kid Santorum, and Kid Romney all had their lunch money stolen by Kid Gingrich. Gingrich would snap all of their necks, and then probably have a heart attack. But he'd definitely kill all of them first.

Rick Perry would shoot them all down from the outside and bathe in their blood on an altar of sacrifice.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
Paul would fight, but would get taken out pretty quickly by slipping and breaking his hip.
Romney would go through the motions of what he thinks fighting is supposed to look like, and would of course have his neck snapped within a matter of seconds by Newt.
Gingrich is a pretty evil motherfucker, but his arrogance would cause him to automatically write off Santorum as a non threat, and that would be his downfall.
Santorum would win. He could justify anything at all, if he could convince himself that he was doing it in the name of the lord. He could stand there with that empty smile of his until the dust settles, and Newt goes in for the killing blow. Once Newt gets close though, Rick would bite off his nose and jam his thumbs into his eyes before tearing his throat out with his teeth.
And that is the story of the best primary race ever...

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
My bet is on Satanorum as well.
However...I recall seeing match back in the 90's where some 400 pound "street fighter" handed a Muay Thai fighter his ass. At one point, the loser was on the ground and Mr. 400 LBS just dropped his knee on the other guys head. Game over. So I wouldn't count out Newt. He's pretty ruthless.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
A lot of my fellow registered Democrats are taking great glee in the fact that this is quite possibly the worst Republican nomination season, ever. But I kinda feel sorry for Republicans ... the old-fashioned non-hater sort, anyway. Jeez, what a clown car! At this point it seems entirely possible that the next Republican president will be Barack Obama. However given the choices listed in this poll, I think it's Romney for the win. After all, he's got the $$$ to fix the match and the magical skivvies to fend off the salamander's hyperbolic rhetoric. He has the backing of Wall Street and the corporations (the real powers that be) to keep wild card "destroy everything!" Ron Paul at bay, and realistically, that frothy little troll from Pennsylvania never stood a chance of oozing anywhere near the D.C. octagon.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
To me it feels like the whole game is rigged to keep Obama in the office another 4 years. Ron Paul is very progressive, and I'd like to see less of the same shit we've seen the past 12 years, but that won't happen.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
Well you can pretty much guarantee an Obama re-election with these clowns! I had to laugh at how crazy the Gingrich interview was on the CBS morning show. He bogusly claimed Obama is unpatriotic because he wants gas prices at the european level of $10 a gallon and that when he took office prices were a $1.58 a gallon?! Not true. First of all most of the people controlling gas prices are the oil companies who contribute heavily to the republicans. Obama does not set prices. Republicans always play the bait and switch game: "Oh look the prices are out of control, it has to be Obama!" Gingrich also said that because he federally intervened in North Dakota to protect 8 species of birds from the oil companies and that he violates the 1st amendment and the catholic religion over birth control. I just had to chuckle and ask myself where do these corn shucking moronic idiots come from? Santorum is an even crazier hypocritical zealot.
OH and my new pet peeve is interviewers calling Gingrich 'Mr Speaker.' News Flash Newt: You have not been speaker of the house in well over a decade.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
I thought I would sort of rekindle this thread because we are dangerously close to some seriously harmful times ahead. Not just for Americans, but the entire world if this lunatic wins the Republican nomination. I also found it disturbing that four years ago, Phantomfauna actually listed this kook as a pick. No disrespect to Phantom either. Just eerily spot on. Anyway, I found this article today and it speaks loudly. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/03/opini ... .html?_r=0

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
It IS frightening! And even as a contender for the nomination, to steal a phrase from the article, he is a "threat to an already tattered brand," that which is America. The outside world is looking at us and laughing. If we allow him to win this nomination we will not only be the joke of the world, we will be proving everything anyone has ever said bad about americans: Ignorant, rude, racist, war mongers...the list could continue.
I was afraid when Bush ran, he was just stupid, i am now genuinely frightened of this psychotic circus that is the republican race. They are all batshit crazy but he is only one who may be able to stand up to hillary or bernie.... FML, fuck all our lives... SMH

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
We all know that if it was a real fight for the presidency, Trump's hair would shoot out like porcupine quills and impale everyone... Because that shit ain't natural.
But yeah, sometimes I wonder if this is an election or a new TLC reality show. The race isn't even about the issues anymore, it's trash talking and shit slinging. Hell, if we're going to have a bunch of politicians throwing insults at each other like monkeys throw shit, I might as well put my ballot in for Koko the Gorilla. At least "bananas for all" is a better policy than "build a big wall." Plus Koko's pet cat can be VP, so freedom to take naps in the sun during work hours will probably become law.

Re: Who would win the Republican presidential nomination...
Gavin Newsom (and I'm sure others) posted footage recently from one of the 1980 Republican National debates, a town hall style meeting that the League of Women Voters sponsored. A kid from Texas asked the question about illegal immigrants and public school, and should they be forced to pay for attending said public school. The response from both Reagan (the RNP's messiah) and George Bush is so far on the opposite end of where the RNP is now that it boggles ones mind. It just shows you how far the RNP is out of touch and how much of a shameful shamble it has become. It's a goddamn parody of itself. Kind of reminds me of the music industry...
It's certainly worth the look. Google it
Anyway, if Trump gets the nomination and by some evil twist of fate wins, I am moving to Mexico. I will gladly help build that wall behind me and never look back
