I'm glad it was down. Actually I wish they would purposely close it down for a week, so people would do something else for awhile. And maybe they'd even appreciate what they've got for once.

Very ugly on KR. Has been since Critterbox had their forum. That seemed to bring all the wackos and assholes out of the woodwork.
I think I'll stop reading the site the month before SDCC, haha.

If collecting toy made me as angry as some of the people on the KR toys I would find another hobby.

What is really funny is people complain about firecat and mr bunnys ect. These toys are way easier to find than Real Head, Blobpus or Rumble Monsters. I could have bought 10 mr bunnys and Firecats had I wanted to but I can't buy any real head to save my life.

people seem to forget this is supposed to be fun and exciting. they take it for granted, just like everything else.

it's been my experience over the years with collecting anything that even the most limited things will come up again, at least once. there were things I didn't buy and I thought for sure I'd never find them, but I usually have. you just have to be persistent and patient and look hard enough.

i agree mark. come sdcc time KR should really be avoided like the plague.

For those of us who have never been to the Kid Robot boards, can you fill us in on what the issue is? Is it with the user base or the moderators?

I rarely post over there. There's rarely any threads worth posting in. Sometimes you can find out some good info, but the same info is all over the net these days. It's really down to the number of psychotics over there. As someone said earlier, most on there think it's their right to get a release and if I read one more "I'm a bigger fan than you" or a "What toy should I buy?" I will commit murders. If you want a bit of a laugh head over and read some of the posts. Paranoiacs abound. All the "What I like is waaaayyyy better than what you like" wears you down pretty quick too.
I don't really notice the moderators at all. Lttr Pressed is one, but haven't seen him post much of late anywhere. He is cool though (and makes some well nice cards!!).
