Post Re: BladeRunner Blaster
thanks for posting. one of my all time favorite guns. this gun is usually sold as a kit. this version looks to be the top of the line. wow. $1,000?? spendy, very spendy. I can get a real custom gun for less than that.

tempting though....

Very cool. I remember being impressed when I first saw the old (Scoop?) resin kit, but this is something else.

I would have to disagree that you could get a custom pistol for 1k. The last 3 pistols I bought were all over this price and none of them were customs. The last custom I bought was an Ed Brown Kobra Carry and was over 3k. Not only that but it was only that cheap because all the parts for a 1911 are already out there to be tweaked. A true "from the ground up" pistol like the Merc runs over 4k. While I am sure they used a few stock gun parts in this piece it is mainly from scratch. I don't think the asking price is out of line. Very cool but surely only for the truly obsessed fan.

i got my SV Infinity for around this price. ok, maybe a bit more, but not much. came with the C-more as well.

regardless, it's a shit load for a prop.

having said that, I want one.

I guess I am just differing on my idea of custom, there is a lot of nice platform guns to be had your way. There are also a boat load of great guns for under a grand that you can dress up with the change. It does seem like a ton of work went into these though. I want one too but there's no way I can start in on prop replicas. I could see it being addictive for some reason.
