Levis how I used to love you. Be VERY careful about buying a pair of jeans without trying them on first. Ten years ago, the dimensions were super reliable and you could order on faith and know the size would be right.

These days, length and width vary widely depending on where they were made. I bought a few pairs last year - exact same style and size - and wound up having to exchange most of them because the actual sizes were all different.

I guess they're making more $ by using cheap factories, but the brand isn't what it once was.

yeah, i agree with you 100% on that. i just went to the store and tried them on, then ordered online. hopefully i wont get screwed.

Yeah buyer beware on all of Levi's sizing, not just jeans. Their western shirts are now apparently only made for people with the body of a 15 year old swedish boy. I haven't bought one in a long time (I purchased a few when I lived in NYC in the store on Broadway - mediums fit fine and if anything I'm even smaller now) but just from reading reviews people say they are almost two sizes too small. I've inquired with levis.com about 3 times this year as to when they will restock the black poplin western shirt and they've yet to get anything above medium.

You can buy good jeans(nudies) or you can buy cheap jeans(levis)

i have 4 pairs of nudies! if nudie had sta-prest id do it, but i cant get down with their weird chinos.
