One of those days... ugh.

Work. Monotonous. boring. I have to work alongside an asshole who because he's got seniority and because I'm not a hockey/hunting/fishing/pickup truck/country music fan thinks I'm some sort of inept freak of nature and has it out for me professionally. If I had a nickel for every time he's said something about my work behind my back, trying to throw me under the bus- I wouldn't need to work. fuck you dick face.

And today was especially difficult to get through, because I was anticipating the arrival (finally) of my Bootleg Cthulhu Kinkeshi figures in the mail today. nothing makes a day go slower than when you have a box of new toys waiting for you, right? Priority shipping with delivery confirmation, expected arrival on October 11th...

Fuck my crap car. I was coming home from work excited because I finally made through and I knew the mail was waiting for me! And when I tried to open the door my fucking door handle broke. Motherfucking cheap plastic handle. Now it's rigged-up until I can get a replacement from ebay. Just a day before a road trip to NYC, and my drivers side door may break at any moment. fuck you.

Fuck you USPS. The DC # hasn't updated on your website since yesterday @ 2am in California. I'm in PENNSYLVANIA. Fuck you. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow I'll be SOL for NYCC. Fuck you, I was excited about this. And if it does arrive tomorrow, it's going to be a mad dash to try to get them ready for the con while on the road tomorrow.

It's just one of those days. I have to vent, because tomorrow is going to be just as bad at work. But after that its New York ComicCon- I'll be seeings good friends, fellow skullbrainers- Pushead on Saturday! and hopefully I'll get some awesome toys. I'll be alright, but right now I am just pissed.

Rargh. I've been having one of those days too. Although maybe it's been one of those months, or years. I dunno. I've had it though. I feel like Grandmaster Flash - "Don't push me cuz I'm close to the edge, I'm trying not to lose my head."
Anyway - you have my sympathy.

Me too...must be something in the air. I spent a month organising an event, my boss said I couldn't go because I had to put some orthotics on some kid. Kid never showed, secretary tells me Boss took my place at the event and kid was actually booked for Monday and was NEVER coming today. Boss just wanted to go to the thing I fucking organised for a month.
