Indeed. Wasn't there another teenage collector here... Dustin?
Not picking on you Boglin, it just doesn't happen too frequently.

Nice collection Boglin Man! Thanks for sharing and welcome to the boards. How did you get into Boglins only being 16? I loved them growing up, lets see a pic of your Boglin collection too please!

Hey everyone, James or Wuptyz here.
Fortunately, I've been stalking a lot of you via Instagram under the same handle. I heard about Skullbrain a few months back and never really had the notion to go about making an account but alas, i'm here now! I won't flood the forum with all of my photos of my collection but you can find way too many pics on my IG account. I look forward to meeting more of you guys on here and LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE IN THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA. I just moved here back in January and need more excuses to get out of my apartment.

Hello everyone!
My name is Brittany, 23, living in New York. Been lurking for quite some time, just been nervous to register! Long time toy collector, but started getting interested in kaiju after admiring all the ones on display in NYC toy stores for years. Just never knew where to start! My (relevant) collection is quite small at the moment with just some Negoras and a few other Sofubi, but I am looking forward to learning about more on here! Quite a lot of great information.
Thank you for the activation!

Hey all,
Fairly new vinyl/vintage monster toy junkie from MD. My name is Jeff. I've only been collecting for about a year now. It started with re-collecting Monster In My Pocket figures that I had as a kid and just spread from there via Instagram friends/followers/feeds.
I am newly obsessed with Takahiro Komuro (TKOM) pieces, and also working on my Slimebat (Draculazer/Monster Worship) lineup but I collect PK/MVH/Skinner/Splurrt/Gargamel/FiveStar Kinnikuman stuff as well.
Outside of vinyl, I'm working on a complete MA-BA Zombie collection and always looking for more obscure Monster In My Pocket pieces.
Looking forward to using the board and talking to some of you weirdos. If you want to check out any of my collection on IG feel free: @xtehxwizardx

Welcome to the bored, Jeff. I know you from IG (and our fondness of Broad City), but had no clue you're from my neck of the woods. A good handful of MD collectors have been popping up recently... good stuff! Might have to try and organize a local toy nerd meet-up sometime in the near future

Hello Zachary & Jeff, and Welcome a-board, Guys.
I enjoy hearing the toy origins of vinyl collectors, and like many of us, I'm right there with y'all with 80s & 90s toys, and definitely some Monsters In My Pocket! Gross toys and mini figures are what I got up for as a kid.

Hello Nev, welcome to the board. Why don't you tell us a little about yourself/your collection, or what brought you here.

Hey everyone! I'm brand new to the sofubi scene. I got into it when Skinner started doing his colab stuff with Unbox Industries (man oh man do I want a painted Lolgolth....). I don't own much and I only really dig the horror-centric stuff.
Glad to be here and hope I can contribute!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone here at Skullbrain. I've recently got introduced to Sofubi toys and am quickly becoming an addict. I used to collect all sorts of mass production toys, but now that I've found this new world I don't think I can go back. The artists I am really digging are Splurrt, MVH, Skinner, Paul Kaiju, & Rampage.

Oh man. That Kid Miracleman user name had me looking up the Eclipse issues I'm still missing.

I enjoy Matango vinyl, Long walks on the beach and ridiculously expensive Hakaider toys. I mostly collect Japanese vinyl but I also enjoy Kikaider figures and Kamen Rider henshin belts.
I'm working on a backdrop/diffuser to take better photos of my collection because all the photos I have on Instagram range from amateurish to horrendous.
https://instagram.com/blasphemouswords/I do a horror/cult/giallo/exploitation podcast called CinemaDiabolica. This year we're doing a series on the British Video Nasties.

Welcome to the board. It isn't often we see someone come here with a developed taste for some of the classic, but I am glad to see it. I'd love see some shots of your belt collection at some point (well, and the Kikaider and Hakaider stuff to boot too of course
). You will definitely see some beautiful photos of Matango collections on here - mostly old, so hopefully the links aren't dead yet - I know of a couple people that have some really great toy shelves filled with fungi.

Welcome to both of you to the forum. Hope you guys enjoy it. Take a look around, there is much to read and see.
Chogokin, you might be especially interested in the vintage toy subforum. Although it is focused on kaiju and heros made into sofubi, there is ample discussions on plenty of other vintage stuff, including non-Japanese toys, henshin, advertising stuff, etc. And of course, talks and sharing of chogokin is
always welcome if you ask me!
Really quite interested to see some pics of your collection thus far. Happy to see some new 'vintage' blood on the board.
