I really love Pelican. Their last album -"The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw" was especially excellent (though the foreshoretened version of March To The Sea was somewhat of a silly move).
If you like Pelican, you should also check out Dysrhythmia

i got that one with the vellum cover and purple vinyl its sick.
i saw them a few months back and was jacked that they haven't played some of the fire songs for a year.
their new stuff sounds great though.

their new stuff sounds great though. I dont know if that one is on hydrahead but the records they put out always have great layout and design. I'm not into scissorfight but the hyrdahead release looks awesome too.
