Thanks for putting this up! Such an amazing artist.

I was lucky enough to see some similar sculptural paper work in person a few years ago by Guy Laramee, and it was also an exhibit not to be forgotten! The pieces on display were of a book, or stacks of books, with sections carved out of them to show physical manifestations of a common theme or subject. For example: 2/3rds of the stack might be manipulated into a scene of ancient ruins (Visit Here: http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/paper%20sculpture). The craftsmanship's extraordinary!

Although the work I witnessed was beautiful & memorable, each piece viewed was within it's own limited parameters, whereas Li Hongbo's artwork, as installation pieces, shares the same space as the viewer. I bet it's awesome to experience in person :D
