i have both pre-ordered on amazon. I knew id have to cut ties with one since i dont have the kind of money to plop down on both.

Im usually the type of person who can wait a year or two before finally getting a new system but now that gaming has shifted to almost completely online gaming ( i had no idea about online gaming till someone showed me i could play COD4 online in 2009) i need to at least get one at launch to get going on BF4.

ps3 bundle will come with BF4 and the year subscription at 500$ while the xbox one will cost about 560$ to buy the game as well..

i like the price of ps4 and the fact I could use my astro a40s but hate the idea of using the controller.

hate the rise in price, still weary of microsoft, but love the xbox controller.

the launch games are almost identical and to be honest i think xbox has a better future lineup but again... ps4 is cheaper and im not as worried about how they have asserted themselves so far.

I bought a ps3 last Black Friday, haven't touched it in months. Then again, I suck at FPSs and love RTSs

i was going to get a pc and actually saved money to build one but ended up wasting half of it on power ranger toys

major issue with pc is i have no idea how to game on keyboard and mouse. only games ive ever played on pc were RTS and house of the dead 2 ha ha.

I own a ps3 now and dont use it for anything but netflix or downloaded movies and only play BF3 and FIFA these days on my 360... ive become a casual gamer and dont really care for many of the open ended/rpg games anymore.

I prefer mouse and keyboard, I think it's a lot easier to use if you haven't been using a Xbox or PS for a long time. Mouse movements are a lot quicker than a joystick and don't make your thumb hurt. Just get a gaming mouse and use it often

When I went abroad the first time, All I needed was my steam account. Taking any of my consoles would have been a pain, that's one of the reasons I haven't considered getting back on the console wagon.

Oh and you can also hook up a controller to your computer. I don't use steam myself but they have great sales

ha ha. everyone sounds like those i work with. Im just too much of a casual gamer to really plunk down on a gaming PC. the only game i really want to play is BF4... I know. Ive become one of those mindless drones that dont deserve to call themselves a gamer. Trust me. Its not something im proud of. Id love to get into gaming heavily again.

The new kinnect remote is supposedly sensitive enough to pick up your heart rate. While that might seem cool for people who use the kinnect to work out it gives me the heebie-jeebies!

I agree with this logic. Let everybody scramble for the holiday launch sellouts and possible unforseen tech problems. Come March or Aprilish, I will get a PS4.

Yes the Xbox One will play blu-rays.

No preference for me yet, I'll wait and see which console most of my friends get, because playing online with them will make the most difference for me.

I have my PS4 preordered. I play fifa, and other games, but I have been loyal to PS since the 3. I know that's not long, but before that I was a nintendo kid. Last time I bought my PS3 it was the first batch, never had a problem with it and even sold it to my friend, who still isn't having a problem with it. So six years without a problem. I played the ps4 at SDCC this year and I loved it. As soon as I got back I got on amazon and ordered it!
