Through the power of art and creativity, Keep A Breast focuses on increasing awareness of breast cancer treatment and prevention. This unique organization makes plaster casts of women's torsos on welcoming volunteers, commissions talented fine artists to adorn them, then auctions off the results, beautiful, original pieces of art.

This approach seeks to highlight the defeatable nature of breast cancer's epidemic-like presence by showcasing the beauty and strength within the female form. The breast casts that are created on women of all shapes and then customized by artists of all types, are physical representations of a simple truth -- while breast cancer attacks all women without prejudice, it is also the powerful individual present in all women that will conquer it.

Keep A Breast is an international event, an art exhibit and auction that travels throughout the globe. The money Keep A Breast raises benefits organizations that are working toward building awareness and promoting prevention of breast cancer. To date, Keep A Breast has organized events in New York, San Francisco, San Diego, Lake Tahoe, Raleigh, Munich, and Biarritz on behalf of Boarding for Breast Cancer, Susan G. Koman Foundation, The Breast Cancer Fund, Asha Kilgallen McGee Fund and Europadonna.
