 Re: Skullboarding
After breaking my collar bone in a drunk long boarding accident back in college, I've never gotten back on. Wish it hadn't traumatized me so, hahaha.

 Re: Skullboarding
I skate as frequently as I can, whether it be parking lots, beach rides, the local arboretum, wherever! I've yet to break anything haha, I'm learning to stand-up slide and coleman slide so I guess that won't stand for long.

 Re: Skullboarding
Can anyone recommend a nice board just to ride on for a huge dude? I weigh about 240 and all I want to do is cruise, I'd probably kill myself trying to pull any tricks.

Well, wood-wise: just go for whatever you like, flexibility is a matter of personal preference, if you're just gonna cruise I'd say go with a flexier/medium deck. Truckwise, try Indys or Paris 180's, they are not really for going down hills but they are good for casual riding and cutting city corners. In the end, it's all a matter of personal preference Use longboard wheels, they allow you to go over uneven terrain easily, something you are likely to find when cruising.

 Re: Skullboarding
I was skateboarding a lot some years ago, I recently bought a longboard to cruise gently. So smooth. Here it is

 Re: Skullboarding
My Sector9 cruiser when it was new. Haven't ridden as much recently as it's been raining everyday...

 Re: Skullboarding
I haven't shown my board btw, it's a Sector 9 Bamboo cruiser which I somehow use down some med/mellow hills without proper DH parts.

 Re: Skullboarding
Skated everyday until I tore my ACL while attempting to heel flip down a dozen steps (15 years ago). Haven't been on a board since.
