Top 10 Albums of 2014
The year is pretty much over for music releases so it's time to look back on the past 12 months.. I'm sure I've missed out on some great music so I'm keen to see what's in your Top 10 lists.. Which releases from the past year do you keep going back to?

Not a top 10 of new releases, because I dont have 10 new albums I listen to constantly. However, I have been listening to these a lot since their release.
In no particular order:
Opeth - Pale Communion and you will know us by the trail of death - XI (such a great release) Revocation - Deathless Taylor Swift - 1989 2ne1 - Crush ATG - At War With Reality
While this is in no way the best ATG album, it is great to hear the sound with new beats.
Oh! and not an album, but I must have played this song until my gf was about to pull my eyes out and feed them to me.

Nice I'll haveto check some of those out! Anybody else got any lists?? I have no idea what's going on in the hardcore/metalcore scene right now.. I saw The Ghost Inside just released a new album so I gotta check that out. I'm sure some of you guys have some tips in that area for 2014 releases?

Re: Top 10 Albums of 2014
Top 10 is tough since the only time I listen to music is while playing video games... and I usually will listen to an album x40 before moving on to other music. Hell, I don't think I even bought 10 albums this year.
That being said, if I had to choose album of the year... Pink Lemonade by Closure in Moscow, without a hesitation.
The album is one of the funkiest, most creative collections of music that I've ever heard. They were originally a very good progressive rock band (a lot of people compared them to the Mars Volta mixed with a bit of post-hardcore) but their new album was a complete departure from that. I honestly hated it the first listen through, but by the fifth listen I started to appreciate how amazingly technical it all was... Eventually became one of my favorite albums of all time.
Best of all, these dudes put up their entire discography up on YouTube.
