 Re: Fargo television series
Do you think there is more than one director? I forget the episode but 4 or 5 maybe felt very different from the rest. Very dream like.
Anyways, awesome show!
maybe we just need a "tv shows" thread.

Downloading 'em all as they show to watch in one hit. Glad to hear it sounds worthwhile.

Mr. Thorton's haircut is hilarious! Oliver Platt's performance is perfect as well.

 Re: Fargo television series
I love how it plays against the film whilst also retaining lots of its character. Superb characters backed up by some even better acting. As dark and as funny as its origin. Billy Bob Thornton does a stellar job of playing the loveable villain and I've loved every episode thus far, just a fantastic show on almost every level- does the Cohens proud I'd say.

 Re: Fargo television series
I was very dubious about this show but i admit i was totally wrong - its really good I see it as an interesting mix of remake and sequel. Billy Bob is fantastic as usual. I'm also not a huge fan of Martin Freeman but i think he's doing a great job. Its also nice to see Bob Odenkirk getting a part in another very cool series. Has anyone else spotted 'nods' to certain Coen films? Like the Raising Arizona one, with the 'You missed a spot' guy mopping-up the prison floor.

It's my favourite show at the moment, some fantastic performances from Martin Freeman and Billy Bob.

That is great to know. I haven't been able to dig in yet, but glad the feedback is good. I was worried it was going to be shit.

I remember hearing about this but forgot to tune in. Thanks for reminding me. Just watched the first two episodes. Absolutely perfect so far! Not a weak link at all acting wise in the entire cast. I love Billy Bob Thornton.

 Re: Fargo television series
So what did everyone think of the end? I have to say this series was the best I've seen in a long time. I was sad to see Lorne Malvo go!

 Re: Fargo television series
^^ i watched episode 9 last night . . . and will watch the last one soon.
Ep9 was really good . . . its weird to enjoy and cheer-on the antics of such an evil, cold-blooded murderous psychopath. Billy-Bob totally steals every scene he's in.

Loved the series! Maybe not the greatest ending, but still a great series. Man oh man that bear trap

Interesting to watch to extreamly different sociopaths. One so confident and fearless and the other so weak and timid (though slowly gaining confidence).
I hated Lester more than I hated King Jeoffrey.

Loved the show and hope its back for a different season and story!

^^ Yeah, they were too funny and too dumb to live.
I enjoyed the last episode . . . it did'nt go the way i expected but i still liked it. A bear trap will certainly put a crimp in the plans of even the most accomplished and dedicated cold-blooded murderous psychopath!

 Re: Fargo television series
I really liked the first episode of season two. I have to admit i was dubious about the whole 'prequel' thing but i'm glad to say it looks very promising.
I have no idea what the black and white bit at the start with the native American was about, but it was intriguing!

 Re: Fargo television series
Loving the new season. I thought season one was close to as good as it gets but so far this season is even more intriguing and I think will end up being even better than its predecessor!
People need to get on this!
