Howdy Do...
I'm coming out of lurking to see if any fine folks can point me in the direction to get more info about the rough wax proto electroplating step of sofubi production. I've got sculpting know how aplenty, but beyond electroplating precious metals (my prior electro experience) I haven't got a clue what the steps would be to electroplate wax. Is there a painted wash applied first? Would anyone familiar with that process be able to shed some light?

Here's a pretty great post from Lulubell about the process. Good luck doing it at home!!
