Post Bike Fittings
Curious, but has anyone here who rides ever had a bike fitting using the GURU Fit System? It's the electronic/computerized system that states it can find the perfect bike fit for each individual rider?

Since my current bike is now in the hands of some white trash tweak fuck, I have to get a new bike. But I don't want to rely on the old stand above the frame and let the adjuster grope you until he/she finds the right fit. Those days are pretty much over. But I don't want to drop an adtl. $150 on a system if it isn't going to do anything more than the old game. Matter of fact, if it's going to be no better, I'd rather get the good ol' reach around for free than spend the $150 and get no action

Did someone say reach around?

If you're not getting a custom frame built for you, you're probably better off using that free fit calculator. After you plug in your measurements you can choose from one of three "fit styles" that are more tailored to your style of riding. I actually just had a friend measure me today, and plugged the numbers into that calculator to send to the guy building my bike!
