American Hardcore
Anybody see this movie yet? I saw it last night and thought it was pretty good. The old Bad Brains footage is pretty amazing. Jack Grisham from TSOL was pretty hilarious. The band sucked but the stories were great.

it opened here on friday and it was pretty packed.
-my favorite footage was the dys and last rites footage.
-HR was totally coherent and formed sentences.
-Harley flanagan actually talked the cro-mags down.
-Lots of dicks footage.
-a skinny(er) pig champion and poison idea.
yeah jack grisham and vic bondi were way intense in that movie.
so much to mention but thats about all I can muster out.

Great movie.
Last 5 minutes sucked...
blah blah blah. Hardcore is dead bullshit...
I would of like to hear Kevin Seconds thoughts on that...
rest of the movie was great.
and for the record T.S.O.L. is awesome...

I'm interested to see this - my old band Die Kreuzen is in it, and although the soundtrack is somewhat dodgy (no Offenders, Huskers, Dicks, Poison Idea, Necros etc.) we were pleased to be asked to participate. God knows what of ours they're going to use (not to mention that it's more than a little odd to be lumped into the "history" category) but it's great to see a lot of these bands finally getting their due. Jesus, the first (touring) edition of DOA (with Randy Rampage and Chuck Biscuits) was one of the best live bands I've ever seen.

I got a copy of the CD today. Nice collection.
I doubt the movie will show anywhere near me...

I'm going to see this Friday. I'm not expecting it to be awesome but I'm at least hoping for decent.

TSOL's "Beneath the Shadows" is a classic! I haven't seen it the documentary yet, and hopefully I'll get to soon.
