 High School Musical
Why has everyone on Earth seen this movie except for me? It seems like it's like this generations "Grease" and I know nothing about it. Is it worth looking into?

Grease is a classic.

keith, "high school musical" was a made-for-disney-channel movie that turned into a frakking phenom. its not "grease", its kids fare.
the soundtrack has blown up the charts and been a huge success for disney. although non-crazy people like ourselves don't really pay attention to this shit, disney is making money hand-over-fist on alot of their television movies, see "cheetah girls", and breaking records for album sales.
i only know this because i read Entertainment Weekly (which has info on just about everything), and when i worked part-time for Barnes & Noble, you would not believe the number of parents that would come in and ask for this stuff.

The first time I saw "The Cheetah Girls" listed, I was expecting something a little more Vegas Cheetah Girl-like... very disappointing...
