 Vonnegut dead at 84 Sigh. Just got back to the states after dealing with a family funeral to read tonight one of my favorite authors died. Shitty night.

He was old, I mean it's not like he was young and died in a "tragic" drug overdose or something stupid. I guess the way he went it sucks, falling down, and it's sad when anyone dies really, but it was his time.

His cameo in the movie 'Back To School' was hilarious 
[I thought I'd lighten up the mood of this thread]
Admittedly, I've never been a huge fan of his work, but his contributions to literature are so significant that this news even makes me sad. He has lived a very interesting, full life.
