I go with the advance notice and time of sale idea, lets keep it off ebay until you get your site & board set up.....but hurry the f up, one place for all Kozik stuff is very nessesary

Do you even have to do an ebay store?
Isn't that more complicated and require extra money or more of a committment?

Just post an announcement of when they will go on sale on eBay. Then create a sale on eBay with a BIN and 50 (or whatever number) items.

Buyers will be able to "buy it now", pay by paypal, and that's it.
eBay keeps the sale up until all items are sold. eBay is massive and able to handle thousands of sales simulaneously. It never crashes.

You'll never oversell. You get sale confirmations sent to you.

I saw another toy designer sell stuff this way a couple years ago.

They sold Le Merde figures that way.
