Re: Well That Sucked During Checkout
I've seen one up close. Quite nice. Alot going on with the pose, the half dissection. Articulation in the arms, surprised thought they might be fixed. No articulation in the right leg. Bummer. Feels quality.
Is it $300? Dunno.

Re: Well That Sucked During Checkout
Was that the email for the Blue GID 5YL?
I still remember being able to order 2 of the green GID's.

Re: Well That Sucked During Checkout
The second GID 5YL was made available this way as an apology of sorts for how difficult it was to get the first GID...there's no way on earth he could ever do something like that again, unless he made MANY thousands of a given piece.
We used to live our lives fine without cellphones too, remember?
I used to be able to afford apartments in Manhattan...
the good old days.

Yes, but if you recall they oversold those as well. Actually the green version and then they tried to make good by offering the blue version to those they over sold to. Can't ignore the fact that he is widely more popular than ever and certainly can't fault him for making a living.

$14K for an ugly watch with a plastic watch band!?! Regarding "Resting Place" - definitely the nicest thing he's done in years. The quality is superb, and the pose is well sculpted and natural looking. The price was definitely a shock though.
