Re: Doublepalour Sofubi
I own one of the Bahnees myself, creepy little bugger. I'd post a photo but I'm on my phone and I forgot my laptop charger at home. I'll have to remember when I get home.
The new sculpts are interesting, but just not my kind of toy.

Re: Doublepalour Sofubi
They look like John Knox toys mashed with Le merde. I like Le merde's work a lot and I dislike Knox's work just as much.
Dunno how I feel about these, yet. I can only say "more American work on vinyl, again?"

Re: Doublepalour Sofubi
What's wrong with American artists working with Japanese vinyl?

Re: Doublepalour Sofubi
I've always liked Double Parlour, and I think these turned out great. I'm in. Blank whites look great! Also love the little hats, they're probably detachable.

Re: Doublepalour Sofubi
... gotta admit i really like these guys! Real surreal feel to them in my opinion. And to me at least, a departure from the Doublepalour resin works. Do wish the hats were removable too though - then again they may just get lost in play.

I grabbed this set last weekend. Not a huge fan of white but I'm a huge fan of their work.
