I kind of like them, but something inside still screams, "NO!"
What are they called? Who is the artist?

I really like the bottom two. Sort of like Nathan decided to do some more "serious" looking characters.

I also like the bottom two, kind of a darker more serious tone to them, at least the one on the left.

The one on top appears to be inspired by precolumbian/mesoamerican motifs and perhaps a little Tammy Faye around the eyes.

I'm not 100% on these specific designs, but I like the vision... and am curious to see how it unfolds... and more curious about what designs come AFTER these...

I've long been a fan of Nathan's. I'm really curious to see how these develop.

could you imagine a couple of those tree guys staggered amongst a herd of dokuwashis and biskup helpers? If they make these tree figures in the right colors, I will make this scenario with photos.
anyway, I like the bottom two. the tongue-out one is too block-y and neo-azteca (maybe neo-olmeca?) and for me it doesnt work in its attempt. also looks very different than n.jurevicius' other sculpts.

Ditto.
Not feeling the tree as kaiju. The ample surface area of the tree screams "customize me!" I'm getting a [expletive deleted] vibe from this piece, which doesn't interest me at all.
Top one has potential.
They're nice sculpts and all, just not my bag.

a [expletive deleted] vibe from the tree guy? really?
I get more of a Miyazaki vibe from the tree guy.

I don't get the [expletive deleted] feeling so much from the actual design but the amount of surface area available for customizing. I can see Spoons and others going apeshit with all that space.

For me, I think it all really depends how the colorways turn out. Right now though, I think the sculpts are pretty cool. I've never really been one for minis so most of Nathans work (mini treehouse etc.) I've passed on. But these guys look promising, specially with all the whole "kaiju inspired theme" going on.
