Looks like we will be looking at a late February/early March delivery of the Combat-R Zero. This is just one of those typical ass things that happen in toy production and it sucks. First problem was a last minute revision that had to be done.We where having a problem with the "Skunkwerks" (Black CRZ) colorway concerning the graphite color. We finally settled on a shade of black (pantone black 09 i think) and a brighter purple color which I think rocks harder now. What's caused the new delivery date was in the drop test concerning the case where the robots gets shipped in. We went back and forth on how many pcs was going to go in a case. Apparently with 10 pcs per case, when dropped some of the clamshell suffered some denting. Drop tested 8 pcs per= do dice. So we had to go with 6 per case which increases my box count = more shipping cost. We're not going to change the price point on this wave but will have to slightly on the next ones. Shipping and cost of materials are getting higher and it just can't be helped.

Our website is developing nicely and should be up soon. I'll have pics of the final production samples soon. Again sorry for the delay.

as someone doing something along the lines of you robert...problems ALWAYS come. i thought i planned it all out including problems and tried to pace myself on announcements so it could hit in a nice timeline...didn't happen. good luck and i hope they arrive safely.

The pic above is of the new Skunkwerks colorway. You can see the diff from the Chocolate colored T1 sample. Ole "Choco" wont be made but he has a special place in my heart

Thanks guys , I guess despite knowing about delays being inherent in these kind of ventures I still can't help feeling embarrased about the delay. That and dissapointing all the folks that are soo excited about CRZ.
