Alright dude, I got this speech once, and now it is time for student to become teacher.

I know you found this going through the usual sites, and some may have gotten word other ways, but it is sort of taboo to be dropping public posts prior to a limited release like this. There are people with both side views, but when there is limited stock or customs, etc., it is a special. Check past threads for RxH, King Bee, and many more.

(I don't mean this in a "mean" way, it is just learning curve.)

Its common courtesy not to do this stuff but its to be expected these days, usually from the same people.

The real problem is, why is this sort of info being released to websites such as VP? Like organic addict said, why even bother joining a mailing list? It's not like Mike's figures don't sell out in minutes anyway.

And again, for the record - I do agree on not posting about sales such as this one.

Or maybe VP saw the info on some other site and just reposted it.
I personally wouldn't advertise on SB if I want a shot at something I want.
I also wouldn't hold back info on my site if it's publicly posted already by the company or artist.
Sometimes it's a hard choice to make.
But bottom line this is a release that Le Merde advertised.
It isn't some top secret sale or lottery event.

I think it has been for a bit but depending on the situation.
The situation would be the company or artist release.
Certain groups of collectors are a finicky bunch.
Let's take Zollmen for example.
But then you have Elegab collectors who are quite laid back and generally like sharing the info.
I think also considering how hard it is to score certain releases factor into the situation.

Considering this was posted on Mike's blog, I thought it was pretty much fair game for everyone. It didn't bother me at all seeing it on VP. Regardless if it was posted on VP or not, I think those resin pieces would have sold fast anyway.

Mike probably put the press release out there as a way to promote himself and some of you guys are mad at that?
