 jLed Teeter
"It sure is a balancing act with artist Joe Ledbetter's first new toy from Kidrobot, "Teeter." The snaggle toothed, somewhat dizzy, 6" tall Teeter is evenly balanced and stands on any one leg or arm!
Teeter debuts on Thursday, November 9th, for The Balancing Act: Solo Show with Joe Ledbetter at Magic Pony, an art gallery, shop, and studio space in Toronto, Canada. 100 of the 400 limited edition figures will be available at this exclusive toy release; the remaining 300 pieces will be available at Kidrobot stores and online at www.kidrobot.com also on Thursday, November 9th."
Not bad.
Does anyone in Toronto want to help me out?

You misspelled the figure's name in your title.
Knowing how much of a pain it was to track down Mr. Bunny and Fire-Cat, why did KR make Teeter just as limited as them? If there aren't a bunch of AP Teeters, then Teeter will actually be MORE limited than the regular editions of Mr. Bunny and Fire-Cat. Before people defended Wheaty Wheat's low production runs by saying, "They didn't know Mr. Bunny and Fire-Cat would be so popular." So what's KR's excuse?
Anyway, I like this figure. It's not as nice as Mr. Bunny or Fire-Cat, but it's still pretty darn cool.

Its quite cool that it can balance on any arm. Although surely this is a poor excuse for a Ringo replacement?

really reminds me of a firecat rip off.
the arms/legs and the back of the figure are the same.
i am curious if he used the same sculptor on both projects?
and then, take into account that this product is in the hands of the esteemed KR and their fantastic QC department. i am anxiously awaiting the flood of "hey KR, my JLED figure's paint job is all fucked up!!" messages
as for the run #, i dig it. keep it low. make them worth more. if i get one i will flip it over on KR without a 2nd thought

the WW ones weren't perfect either, the firecat I had, had massive glue spots by the flame, the blackline didn't line up and the back caved inwards. And the connecting part of the ears to the head on the icebunny was awful.

oh ok, that's good then. KR won't have to meet any high expectations.

Because they can. Maybe Joe wanted it to be low run. Maybe KR wants to have a high profile highly sought after figure after a number of lackluster releases. Maybe they're doing to annoy people.

Love the idea (balance on any limb) and the sculpt, but hate the neon pink lines. Hopefully the other colorways will be better.

Yeah, I thought of that reason. That's the only one that I would consider even halfway acceptable. The production run should have been at least 800.
