Love the fists of course - anyone who grew up with the changeable accessories will appreciate how cool that is, and in soft vinyl, well heck, bring on the fun! I had this idea for this type of 'mechanised' figures where you would be able to remove sections and see the circuity and stuff underneath. Kind of like the battle armour toys of yesteryear. I am glad we get to see a bit of it on his hand. I am not saying you need to do, it's just something I have been 'dreaming up' for a while. Execution in vinyl would be incredibly difficult I know. The closest thing I can think of is if anyone saw those soft vinyl Jurassic Park dinos in the 90s where you could remove parts of the 'skin.' It was amazing; but really just works because of the flexibility of the Chinese vinyl, which was very different to the 'sofubi' material. Anyways, ignore my toy fantasies, I am a nut. Looking forward to seeing what painted releases you guys will have in store. I vote for mechanical guts! That would be amazing! Have a few clear mecha greasebat releases with sculpted vinyl "mechanized" innards/guts. That would be pretty difficult, but oh so incredible IMO.

Re: MECHA GREASEBAT
The idea off the cut through mecha is cool , but I would go for mixed medium because of the detail required. Even just the idea of being able to see through the eyes in to the control room would be a nice touch. If there's a clear release I'll be kit bashing some internals . It is a great looking sculpt , it would have been tempting to just change the original, here the change in scale really helps it stand out.

Re: MECHA GREASEBAT
Thank you all for the interesting feedback. It's been a real pleasure to see this toy generate interest from you all, and discussion. I recently had an opportunity to create some keshi style figures so I'm spending today designing a close-to-scale pilot, engineer and droid figure to go with Mecha Greasebat. Maybe packaged with MGB, likely to be sold on their own at a low price. One of my favorite robot toys ever came with a keshi set of figures...like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/jefflamm/2249525051/So I'm sort of emulating that. Finkeliminator, your idea of a clear head with a view of the pilot is outstanding. I hope we can do that someday.

Awesome news Jeff! I love the idea of small pack in figures. MB is amazing on so many levels.

Re: MECHA GREASEBAT
Thank you, this release has really been perfect. It's so cool to see it go from sketch to sculpt to vinyl toy, and the sculptor (Monster 5) really got it right with minimal direction. Of course none of it would've happened without people's support of Greasebat and Chad/Monster Worship.

Re: MECHA GREASEBAT
ha ha ha, that's great! especially the eames chairs can we get the "mechanized" shield/crest as a sticker? the castle would make for a fun playset, where its flip side would serve as storage/display. is a cheap, blow-molded product a possibility?

Re: MECHA GREASEBAT
Castle Greasebat! That would be a fun play set... It probably wouldn't be too hard to make a vacu-formed outer shell strictly for display. But I'd like a full on play set ala Guns Of Navarone or Castle Greyskull...
