Yeah you're right Steve, I didn't realize until now that his look changed after the Muckman figure.

and i'm not talking about the gooey shit you put in a mini oven and make. actual creepy crawlers action figures.
i've been hunting for them off and on for awhile, but have found little info even on them aside from a figure or 2 in random peoples collection shots...
I totally forgot about those. You know, I don't even remember what the figure looked like, but I did have at least one of them when I was a kid. I remember because they came with metal molds to use with the Creepy Crawlers oven thing to make accessories for the figures. I can remember the belt I made more than the figure itself.

Custom flocking!? That sounds badass!

How does one go about doing that? Is this, like, a common craft-store type of thing?

You can get flocking from a lot of craft places, or places for model trains, etc.

Kinda like mossman. If I remember right, the original MOTU mossman was the beastman sculpt(including head) but flocked green. That flocking looks really good.

I've always wondered how easy it would be to remove flocking. I think it could be done with some elbow grease, I just wondered if there was some kind of adhesive used and how hard it would be to wipe off.

It was. MOTU rehashed a lot of body parts/heads/weapons etc. It reminds me of what some fight figs do now.

Goofy is rad as hell. Funny how our aesthetics in toys starts so young.

Grabbed these this weekend at my favorite toy store. One is a bootleg Madball from Taiwan the other is a punk dude who transforms into a rat, from the Bettlejuice cartoon. I also nabbed a Muckman finally and some small Ghostbusters ghosts.

Post Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
Just found these in my closet at my parents house. Now I just need some clear vinyl toys to stuff them in. Anyone remember Monster in my Pocket? This is all of series 1, I really liked these as a kid. I was however a nerd and always put them back in their package. One even has the price on it from kmart...a whole $9.99. I wish toys were still that cheap.

i know i have a tonnnn of those back at my parents house that i'm going to find one day and be super excited. I even have a bunch of the issues of the comic book and used to watch the tv show and play the nes game hahaha.

i had completely forgot about the fact that the game, came with a special monster until i just searched for the box art! Wonder if i still have that one kicking around....

when i was in London a few years back i saw that they were re-making them and picked up a couple packs of them for a friend, pretty neat little guys.
