I must come clean... dead presidents was actually the first thing that came to mind when i saw the black and white mug, but I just couldn't resist the opportunity to use that line.

Snapped a shot of this Noh mask (Okina?) while I was visiting my parents. It belonged to my grandfather and has been displayed in my old bedroom for years. It must be around 40-50 years old at least. The expression reminds me of Rich's toy.

I have the feeling we should be taking better care of the mask.

On the mask, is the rope/twine at the ends of the mouth suppose to be a mustache or does the bottom jaw move as if it's talking when someone wears it? Really wonderful piece.

Ah, I just noticed the rope. I looks like the whole jaw is a separate piece suspended by the rope. Probably sways a little as the performer moves...I'll bet it's a cool effect!

Anyway, yes, the Blobpus colorway definitely no longer evokes imagery of ICP!

Yes, the jaw is a separate piece. There is also a single beard piece attached to the bottom of the jaw (not shown in photo).
