Habbit was referring to Gentle Giant not Sucklord.

Huh. Now that ya mention it, it does look a wee bit stretched....but all the details are otherwise identical to the original figure...and I see none of Gentle Giant's joints they supposedly are adding.
Anyway, I just hope we can all agree that the spraycan dude is awful. When the fuck did graf writing become stupid hipster self-promotion?

I think this is the 12" toy. why would Gentle Giant show a picture of the original 3.75" toy to promote it's new 12" toy for SDCC?

Re: Official SDCC 2010 Preview Thread (Spoilers)
Well, was the Gentle Giant toy supposed to be JUST a blown up version of the original figure? I got the impression that "scanned...then reproduced to a fully articulated 12" tall figure" implied that they were gonna add some joints. If so, I don't see any joints. Here's your pic next to a photo of the original figure: Look pretty fucking identical to me...albeit a bit stretched vertically...

my read is that it was going to be EXACTLY like the 3.75" vintage but in 12" form.

So...if that is truly an unaltered photograph, you're right: the proportions have been stretched out a tiny bit. Looks like the Stormtrooper's been doing the South Beach diet! Alex, fair enough regarding this dude's writing career...can't take that away from the man. But like they're discussing in the other thread, the brand-is-art thing is pretty disgusting...and is hardly "street".
