I dont think they're straight tributes like the ages of metal more "based on".
The girl i dont think is siouxsie, there was this ubiquitous "Punk Girl" who was a famous photo of the day. I dont remember her name now tho, she was just an early scenester... will google and post if i find it.

I have no idea but to my eye he's your average "weekend new waver" who is a little bit Gary Numan fan, a little bit Jam fan. Buys their "punk" gear at boutiques rather than army surplus and Goodwill stores. Pardon my residual cynicism. :-)

not sure who all these guys are either

These were the first "designer" toys I ever bought!

I still think the zombies are the best, they were made differently then the rest of the series, supposedly they were cheaper quality but I like them the most.

I'm bummed too that he's made the switch to those large scarle vinyl figs...just not as good as the In Crowd...I do hope he starts making sets again...but it's not looking good...

Oddly enough, the Nokia set, which can sell for a lot sometimes is the most common of all of them..I spoke with someone from Amos that told me there were several thousand sets made!

I heard that about the Nokia set too, I think it's awesome but I've never thrown down that kind of stupid money for it. I have tried to contact everyone involved including Nokia before with no luck.

an ebay seller recently blew through a bunch of sets for around $125 each (without the box that holds all the smaller boxes) and then incomplete sets missing one figure for a lot less than that...

I missed out on all of them, and now all that's left are 4350 BIN sets...maybe some other Nokia employee who's hoarding these will come to their senses and sell them for a reasonable amount...I'd pay around $100 for a complete set with no problem...

Yeah I'd pay that for sure, but it would have to have the big box!

about 3 years ago I contacted Nokia in Finland & in the US...........
they both told me that the sets were all gone, but the guy in NY said that he had an unopened set in his drawer & one on his desk & that since I was a
collector he would send me one, which he did - AT NO CHARGE!

I have all of Jarvis' In-Crowd sets except for the Zombies....... they
are still my favorites & I agree with Bwana that the AGE OF METAL set is the best........

I think she went by Kat, or something like that. Cant quite remember either. The Capt. Sensible is pretty sweet.
