I have most of the other "plain" pollards (large and small), and find that they don't really compare to those with paint by Tim B. Still cool, but not as cool as the painteds, even if limited to only 25 (or 1 or 2).

Hopefully toy karma bites them on the balls :)

I really wanted one too, but I'm not willing to pay more than what TB was selling them for.

I don't really know what gives these people the idea they should have the right to be making more money than the person who actually worked hard to make the toy?

I bought a pretty rare limited Musical Instrument from Switzerland last year called a Hang Drum. I had to sign a contract agreement that I would not sell the instrument for any more than what I payed for it and PanArt also have the first right to purchase it back from me if I want to sell it. If I sell the drum with out their consent they have the right to sue me for the original cost of what I payed for the instrument. Maybe it's the only way to beat the flippers and put toys in the hands of people who actually like it. Lot of painful paper work I guess, but at least it would put the flippers out of business on smaller serialised editions.
