Well that's the point, right? Wait on something you like, and if it catches on with a larger crowd, you'll miss the opportunity to get it (except at some kind of crazy price.) I'm not saying go buy something because it's popular, I'm saying - and don't misinterpret this - if you like something, don't assume it will still be available six months or six years from now.
I know personally that all of KAWS' stuff has grown on me with time, even pieces I wasn't sure about, so I don't want to miss the opportunity to add it to my collection.
