I just saw all of the Dehara pieces and my knees went weak on me.
Really, I've never seen him push it like this. You could mow my yard
just by rolling a blurry photo of his newest stuff across the lawn.
If your soul needs a suntan, you've gotta see this one.

mike told me he thought they would be around $275-350, but that was about a week ago. these things often change.. $400 sounds a bit high, tho.

Post Re: GIANT ROBOT Biennale
from GR email yesterday:

Purchasing Biennale Artwork:
Giant Robot Biennale Art will be for sale only through the Giant Robot website on a rolling basis, keep up to date for announcements. Remember folks, art won't be for sale at the Japanese American National Museum.

Does anyone know, does this mean none of the customs will be sold at the show?

^Yeah, I was wondering the same thing when I got that email. I called the store and they told me that artwork will be sold at the museum and online. Not really sure how that's going to work, but we shall see I guess.

Two hour round trip with a splitting migrain and no toys available. Great stuff though! Wish I had brought along my camera. I think the toys were not available since this was a museum gig and not a toy shop show.

Funny but you can kinda tell who's part of the art crowd and who's from the toy world.

I didnt see any Bangals for sale, or other, but there is always a chance I missed something considering what my head felt like. If I did miss anything I apologize to the peeps I was there for.

Thanks SoS. Bizarre! With all of the hype over the past two weeks, I would have expected a little more (in the toy world). Even more wild is there is no sign of any of the exclusives.

A friend went last night. Bangals and Ledavhara t-shirts were available in the museum gift shop. All the customs will be sold through GR online store "throughout the week"

So I've heard. That was the word from at least two people I know who went. There was no sign or advertisement that the toys were in the gift shop.

One thing I felt sorry about for many
who made it out, it wasn't clear that
our figures were in the gift shop, and
Le Merdes exclusive was way hidden on a

( or flew! ) way far and were unable to
find them. They are still there at the
gift shop and some are at the Giant Robot
store on Sawtelle.

Wow, I even browsed in there and only say some toy2r stuff. Good hiding.
I might be able to swing by sawtelle today and see if anything is available.

Another interesting update: I telephoned the the Museum this morning, and they will NOT take orders. The Bangal and DAVE exclusives are for sale, but only IN PERSON at the Museum Gift Shop.
