Got mine, I'm going to take some pictures with his buddy Morbius this weekend. Even if it doesn't glow perfectly it's still an amazing toy.

What does that mean? I'm guessing it doesn't glow as well as Japanese vinyl.

Even though its made in china, its not "Crappy Vinyl" its the same vinyl that the KAWS companion toys are made out of and every busts a nut over. Granted even the Kaws vinyl is not the best quality but its no means crappy.

I actually think this glows pretty well, it doesnt have the same glow as Japanese vinyl it actually kind of has a yellow tint that I like.

I would suggest leaving it some direct light for like a half hour or so. It should then glow pretty well at night.

I was just commenting on what everyone else was saying, I help it under a lamp for about 30 seconds and it glowed like a champ. In my GID experience unless it is unpainted GID vinyl (not clear, not painted, etc etc.) it will not glow without some direct light.
I certainly did not mean that it was crappy Chinese vinyl, the Bootlegs are some of my favorite figures.

Unknowingly ordered an out of stock item along w/ the bootleg, so i am still waiting for mine. Wish there was an unpainted GID, as well.

Greg came by my studio today and gave me one of the GID bootlegs, and that thing GLOWS, man. I drove home with it sitting on the front seat, and when I pulled into the shade of my garage, it lit up like a 100-watt bulb! It's easily as bright as my brightest japanese GID vinyl.

Hey I just went to the site and discovered there are still GIDs available? Is this true? Or did you just forget to put the little sold out cartoon up there?

Also, wondering if some future versions of this fig will go back to the look of the original. Those toys looked epic with all those saturated black light colors! Don't get me wrong, I like the new ones too. I'm just sayin'...

Sorta off topic, but I wonder how well a pic in bright sunlight would look with a glowie partly in the sun and partly in the shade (hopefully glowing brightly)!
