Me too! The first surprise drop I saw Joe do was last year around this same time, I can remember being so upset missing those twins. This totally makes up for that!

Thanks, glad you enjoy.

I think flesh vinyl is the most versatile color for painting. Every color works on it, so you have limitless options.

Post Re: SPLURRT
Been a while since I shared anything in this thread, for all you non-instagramers.

First, just finished up a new sculpt, Serpent Sata. A companion to Usir, who should also tie in nicely to my side of the Moon Goon.
From the Book of the Dead, I think... this was a spell to turn the magician into a snake. "I am the Sata-snake, long of years, who sleeps and is reborn each day. I am the Sata-snake, dwelling in the limits of the earth. I sleep and am reborn, renewed and rejuvenated each day."
Image

Also, I realize I never posted this figure. I think it is being molded now, I was hoping to have a baby blue vinyl to do a prom release in May, but I don't think that will happen. I will be in a show at TAG in early June, and hope to at least make some one offs for that.
Uncle Steve, lovingly named after my own uncle, who used to send me stacks of Creep magazines and EC reprints for birthdays and X-mas. Inspired by Uncle Creepy and the Crypt Keepr
Image

We are also hoping to debut my Cadaver Ball Gachas at the TAG show. Not guaranteed, but we are trying. So there will be some new sculpts coming very soon.

Joe, those came out fantastic. I love the Uncle Steve vibe as I use to read Creepy and Eerie magazines among other horror comics. Hopefully one day I will get my hands on one.

Both Uncle Steve and Serpent Sata are must haves for me.

I can imagine some really cool paint applications on Sata and Steve almost has a mascot vibe to him, which I love. The details on his suit (the fraying, the flower, the button struggling to hold his jacket closed) and the contrast between the 'cuteness' of his body and the gnarliness of his head is perfect.

Damn, Joe -- I don't even have a Cinema Monster yet... Slow down!

Since they're corpses it shouldn't be hard getting their legs apart. :)

That's what happens when you don't get vinyl for months - lots of sculpting!

How about this for a sentence: I don't have a 'wants thread,' but if I did it would include cadaver balls. (ewww...)

Super happy to have scored something from last night's drop :)

I'm not sure if this is new text for this batch but this clause was on all of the listings:

"All known flippers will have their orders cancelled, no questions asked. If you attempt to flip these figures you will be banned from future sales. You did nothing to make these figures, you don't deserve to profit from my work, you're just screwing over real collectors."

Good to see a line drawn to prevent these small run toys ending up in unappreciative hands.

I've seen others state similar things in listings. Not sure if it helps. Seems serial flippers don't really care about anything except making a few bucks. I didn't see any known flippers come through, I think the best way to stop them is to block them on social media accounts, so they get the message. I wish more makers would block known flippers. It's always funny how they sneak around trying to kiss the ass of everyone who has yet to block them like they are in denial.

I'm hoping I can get some marble and glitter and all that good stuff in the works. It's been extremely difficult and timely getting vinyl lately, but things should be picking up here.

It's very hard to stop flippers. I believe these flippers all belong to an evil organization named Hydra. Cut off one head, two more shall appear. :(

Looking forward to some marble and glitter!

Love the disclaimer. I think a lot more artist are doing as you implied joe ( Paul did something summalar in the emails for the kraken lotto as well) and it is welcome to us true collectors. Especially for current releases. We all have fun tracking down grails and past releases. But the flip kills us all. This was a crazy release as blanks are few and far between and make them more sought after. I was super happy to have grabbed the unpainted walking cadaver for the collection and it's my favorite base vinyl color. So he will be staying blank. Congrats everyone who scored something and congrats joe. On the sell out!

Happy to have picked up an Evolved Beast Diggler. I set my alarm for just before 2am my time in Australia hoping for a walking cadaver, but they went way too fast. Within a second perhaps?!

^^^ easily within a second. I was staring at screen and saw it pop up, but by time I hit add to cart, they were gone. Knew some might be cart-jacked and kept hitting it 10 mins later and got lucky! Super STOKED!!

I've sent a lot of cool stuff and with undead toys and Leo sofubi it should be a fun time.
