Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
Well, Matt's original sketches were definitely way more Glyos-esque. Jason Frailey's final sculpt is more Battle Beasts...and frankly, I think I like it better than Matt's drawings! LOL But still...not very Glyos. I love the regular Glyans, actually! Same with the original travelers. In fact, I think Exellis (who seems to get NO love) is one of my favorites!

Exellis is my fave too. He had some of the best original colorways, such as green Spirico and blue Arcos.

Indeed. Love Exellis. He doesn't get enough colorways these days. I'm still trying to track down parts for my older travelers, but with the influx of new interest, so are dozens of other people.
Should have a fresh box of glyos goodies tomorrow!

it's going to be a good friday.
I think it would be cool if matt designed some new hands for the travelers, more poses!

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
New hands is a great idea....especially since the original ones aren't even Glyos-compatible! I think Matt first started making them Glyos-compatible with the Buildman release. Anyway, regarding Exellis, I guess I don't mind that he doesn't get released super-often...but I'd just like to see him get more love in the fiction (well, really just the Passcode movies and games). I've got a big set of the ZED vinyl stuff available for sale, but I'm actually thinking about chopping it up to make a ZED Big Rig! LOVE that design!

how does the big rig work, did it already have holes punched out to fit the add-ons?

Cut into those suckers Sanjeev! You'll have a good time, I think. I whipped up these two little walker\crawler\spaceship dudes in no time: Sold them for [s]meth[/s] Glyos money though.

supershallow wrote: how does the big rig work, did it already have holes punched out to fit the add-ons? Well, to be honest, it's a bit of a pain. I actually made a Big Rig outta Volkriun parts a few weeks back...and it wasn't the most fun process ever. It wasn't super-difficult, though...and it was totally worth the effort. To answer your question, no: you have to cut them shits out on your own! Basically, I just printed out a sheet of paper with a bunch of exact 15mm circles on it, carefully cut them out, and pasted them on the figures exactly where you want the holes. Then, get a real sharp hobby knife and a blow dryer. Heat em up and start cutting...carefully. I took a picture of the final build...but I can't find it anywhere on my photobucket...I guess I forgot to upload it! nanite, that build looks great--I especially like the crab-walker feel of the upper right configuration. microbry posted this cool build on TBDX a little while back...and it makes me a little randy!

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
Hott! I've got almost the same thing on the table right now, just a little different foot configuration: http://www.battlegrip.com/?p=37990I ended up cutting the shorter righ-arm that forms the torso connection, and then gluing the whole thing together because it kept falling apart. So it can't twist at the torso any more, but the other articulation remains. I need to clean up the torso joint, then I'll get some pictures up. Painted these guys yesterday: Sure it's cliche, but I had to do it. And while I'm tooting my own horn, I forgot to show off my real-type armovor:

Re: Pheyden/Exellis/Crayboth Action Figures - get these!
Love those painted Armorvors. Especially the real type one. And can't go wrong with a classic time-traveling Glyan! So I got around to taking some quick snaps of my Volkriun Big Rig. As you can see, I chopped holes in the front, as well as the back, of the wing parts because when you buy four conversion kits, you end up with two extra long guns. Well, the plan was to stick the two extra long guns on the front of the wings, as well as the back. But it turns out that looks kinda meh. So I yanked 'em...knowing I had a pair of switch pins to plug up the holes. I kinda dig the look--the switch pins add some visual interest there...

cag1000 wrote: Very nice...will there be a specific release day and time at the Onell booth? Are prices set yet? Thanx! Tentatively, I think I am slated to be in the Onell Design booth #3216 in "THE BLOCK" preview night (Thurs.) from 6-9pm, Fri. 1-4pm and Sat. 1-4pm. That could change. Prices, there would be a lot to list due to the diversity of the pieces I will have available. I will have a price list for most items @ the table, however, if you had a few items you were curious about, post here and I will try to list them before I leave for MA Sunday morning @ 4am. TGB

This was the last of the low-run Armovors, there should be plenty in the drop next month.
