C'mon man....it's a hot dog. As long as it's a Vienna Beef, it's all the same. Plus, I knew lots of FIBs that went there (hell, a lifetime Chicagoan introduced me to the damn place), so it's drawing in the locals, too...

And, to keep on topic...yeah, the zag looks nice, too....

Yeah, but everywhere else charges half the price SuperDawg does. It's not jsut the dogs though, that's easy. It's things like the fries, Italian Beefs, Gyros, stuff like that that SD just doesn't deliver on, to me. I know lots of locals all into it too, I glare a pompous glare at them for it.

I'm SUPER into Chicago food, every little thing matters to me, I'm a freak. Next to toys and Star Wars it's my biggest passion (I guess my wife fits in there somewhere.) And SuperDawg is just a gimmick to me, you pay for a big hot dog on the roof not food. Nothing against you though. My dream job would be to give food tours of Chicago and go to all the little holes I feel people should know. My wife is worse than me, anytime Food Network goes to Chicago she freaks cause' they just end up going to gimmicky places or places that just opened in the last 5 years to serve the ever growing hippster/yuppie crowd.

Re: the Food Network thing, I'll give you that. They hype places like the Billy Goat Tavern, which isn't very good and Lou Mitchell's, which is overrated. Though, they do pimp Lou Malnati's on occasion, but they're so much better than Gino's or Uno.

opinion or guesswork on this but i think the maytoy/rotofugi flash used old images because the new toys were not done when that was made. it was just a teaser page.
